Hide and Seek
It's okay.
I know you're scared, I'm a little scared too.
But we can do this.
It's time to come out of hiding.
Sure it's a big world out there and it's filled with a lot of bad things.
But there are a lot of good things out there as well.
I'm not going to lie to you, there are no guarantees.
And I can't protect you.
You may fall, you may get hurt, you may get all broken and sad but that's okay too.
The tears you have shed have given you compassion. The pain you have felt has given you empathy. And the loneliness you have worn like cloak for so long has made you humble.
I see you peeking out from the darkness... And I know you want to come out and play.
So come on.
Take off the bandages.
Lets go out in the sunshine and play.
